New statistic from ISTAT and Censis regarding alcoholic beverages consumption in Italy.
The more remarkable and alarming data is the growth of spirits consumption between young people
Between 2002 and 2012 the numbers of daily consumers for alcoholic beverages decrease of 24,6% (women -32,6%)
The percentage of consumption without meal is growing (from 23,1% in 2002 to 26,9% in 2012) and occasional consumers (from 35,8% in 2002 to 42,2% in 2012)
Change beverage consumption. Decrease the quote of wine and beer consumers and growth the quote of long drinks, spirits and after dinner.
In 2012 64,6% up to 11 years old drunk at least one alcoholic beverage. Of these 51,9% drink wine, 45,8% beer, 40,5% long drink, after dinner, spirits and liquors. Drink wine every day 21,5% of the population and beer the 4,1%.
The danger range for the binge drinking is 18-24 years old: 14,8% of young people (20,1% men and 9,1% female) do the binge drinking during social moment.
