We perfectly mix together both tradition and next-generation technologies: on the one hand we carefully check every step of winemaking, from the vines to the complete customer satisfaction; on the other hand we apply new techniques (micro and macrossigenation, checked temperature fermentation, cold stabilization system) that are able to make our wine opulent and powerful. Manimurci winery doesn't do any blend in its wines; we produce 300.000 bottles of varietal wine in order to delight your palates.
Our first aim is to produce high quality wine; for this reason we are awarded many wine prizes and we are named in many professional wine guides that praise the quality of our wines. Moreover we are recompensed by the increasing demand of national and international markets (Japan, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, United States,etc.).
Manimurci is a land with a big development potential for winemaking and Manimurci winery is well harmonized with this area and its history.
The care and the dedication of the shareholders, Carmine Aliasi, administrative manager, and Giuseppe Loffa , commercial manager, with the oenologist Antonio Pesce's help, allow the company to reach new ambitious targets. Thanks to the company 'market-oriented' strategy,
we were able to renew day by day both the production and the delivery process.
The southern hills in the land of Paternopoli were called Manimurci (Venus Fount) by Roman conquerors.
During IV and III century a.C.the Greek colonizers began to grow Aglianico variety grapes in this clay, chalky and volcanic soil. Aglianico
variey grape perfectly developed in this microclimate that is very dry thanks to the winds coming from Ansanto Valley.
The success of this dynamic and emerging company is due to the devotion and the care for its own job and to the passion for good
wine passed down from generation to generation of wine growers.
In 2007 the corporate structure was renewed and now the new company manages about 30 ha of Aglianico variety vineyards. Here, the low yield allows to grow excellent grapes; a part of these grapes come from Vitis Vinifera Vines belonging to pre-phylloxera epidemy
vineyards, planted in the end of XIX century. Manimurci winery was born in 2002 in this context, in the middle of the famous Taurasi growing area.
